Symbiotic Design presentation development
Through the computer age, presentations have grown to become an effective means of communication. Whether you are relating information such as the state of the business, showing off children's pictures or training individuals at work, the mix of audio and visual communication that a well done presentation allows reinforces and nurtures the message at hand. Add also that a presentation can be be reviewed over and over, as well as distributed throughout a company or family, and we can easily realize how affordable presentations are in the long run.
There are two types of presentations, linear and nonlinear. A linear presentation explores a story from one end to the other. A nonlinear presentation is an interactive presentation which allows a user to select the next path according to his own needs or curiosity.
A linear presentation could be a videotaped presentation or a simple computer based slideshow consisting of audio, graphics, animation, video, visual aids and/or text messages. They can incorporate a narrative voice, a message from the president, or any number of things. A linear presentation is easiest to produce, and if it is a computer based presentation, Symbiotic Design can also have the presentation wait for user input before resuming the story.
A nonlinear presentation, or an interactive presentation, is perhaps the most effective type of communication. This type of presentation allows for user input and interaction. This interaction is what makes the process of learning more memorable. No longer is this type of presentation restricted to the computer platform, now we have DVD players which allow for the same type of interactivity, and handheld devices (PDAs) are now starting to run interactive presentation programs and games. Symbiotic Design does limit it's presentation productions to the computer or DVD, though. We do not yet consider a tiny Personal Digital Assistant black and white screen an effective platform for presentations.
Symbiotic Design is quite capable of producing the type of presentation you need, whether linear or interactive, for whatever media you favor. Please consider our services. Thank you.
