Symbiotic Design™ specializes in videography. Think of it as the art of polishing a video production.

Videography is the process Symbiotic Design™ uses after shooting to videotape (or digital videotape), transfering the data to hard drive and correcting or modifying it's look. It is the equivalent of cinematography in the film industry. This is important, because not all video production houses actually offer much in the way of videography beyond titling and some special effects. Our videography insures accurate color and portrayal of the subject matter, while offering advanced effects and video graphics (including animated titling and more).

So, videography is the art of the look and spirit of each video production. Symbiotic Design™ videography is in every video production we do.

Video production involves the entire process of actually doing the work to make a video (including videography), once the script is written. But by including advanced videography into our video productions, we are designing in a standard of excellence for every shot.

Video productions can range from short videos to be used in multimedia presentations or web pages, or to full blown broadcast quality commercials, training videotapes, safety videos, music videos or animated program intros.

Perhaps the most common interest in Symbiotic Design™ video production is the videography for logos, graphics, and company titling, and to animate company logos to give commercials an extra flare.

Symbiotic Design™'s video graphics work has been used extensively by the University of Sioux Falls new media department under the videographic artist's name, Doug Peters, for logos, titling, framestore graphics, intros and announcements in their previous Sportsline production. Some graphics are still in use on their College Week productions. Doug Peters has also been known to help train students in effective videographics.
