Symbiotic Design™ consultation services Symbiotic Design™ has been providing consultation services to a few of it's local area clientele for a number of years, now. We are not only experienced computer users, but we work on multiple platforms with a variety of programs. We also try hard to stay current with technology and software so that we can utilize our tools as efficiently and effectively as possible.
We are happy to share our expertise in web site design, Photoshop®, Illustrator®, Dreamweaver®, Director®, Flash®, animation, video graphics, the Video Toaster®, Premiere® and a wide array of other programs, platforms and hardware in order to make the appropriate recomendations to your business for a small consultation fee.
Symbiotic Design™ realizes that you may not be seeking to add Photoshop® to your software library because of it's expense and knows of many programs that may suit your needs instead. Or we can counsel you on getting the cutting edge application, if we feel that you need that type of performance from your software.
We can also inform you of the real world requirements of your software, and help you chose a proper upgrade path while considering your budget. Unfortunately, software publishers and hardware manufacturers are trying to get you to buy their product. For instance: While you CAN play Unreal Tournament online with a 128 MB 450 mhz Pentium II without any extra hardware aside from a DSL connection, you want to be competetive and have a shot of winning, right? Our advice is to get at least an 800mhz Pentium III with an Nvidia Geforce 2 or ATI Radeon to hook up to that DSL line, bump up your RAM at least to 256 MB and make sure that you have a faster 7200 rpm hard drive. It would be nice to know this before you go out and buy a new computer, wouldn't it?
Remember, we not only use and work with advanced software, we work on multiple platforms. In our office we have 4 different computers running 4 different operating systems. In our studio there are 6 different computers running 3 different platforms. We know what we are doing and are glad to share our knowledge and experience.
