Protecting our Branding Efforts
In an effort to protect our company name and branding efforts, Symbiotic Design™ has acquisitioned a number of Domain Names. It is the intention of this web page to show each Domain Name property and it's purpose in the Symbiotic Design™ network. Not all Domains are listed, as some Domain Names may be recent acquisitions since this document's last update while others may be held privately by Symbiotic Design's owner. This document is meant to provide our users with alternative URLs with which to access various sections of our websites easily. This is a common internet related promotion policy ( i.e.: TheScreenSavers.com Domain Name actually redirects users to the URL http://www.g4techtv.com/screensavers/index.html ). It is also meant to clear up and address any possible confusion that search engines might have stumbled onto multiple Domains that point to the same web address.

SymbioticDesign.net was the first additional Top Level Domain (TLD) that we acquired in an effort to protect our branding efforts, and the .net was the most obvious choice since Symbiotic Design™ is an internet technologies company. The Symbiotic Design™ Network of Websites:
In an effort to provide our customers and clientele with solutions that address their particular needs, Symbiotic Design™ has expanded greatly over the years. As an example, though we believe our advanced web hosting solution is among the finest offerings in the world today, some do not require such advanced services and therefore would not want to pay the premium required to mainatain such a service. SD-WebsiteDomains.com was our main Domains web superstore before rebranding the site. This Domain continues to function. Dir Port™ is a great little directory. DirPort.com references Symbiotic Design's internal directory through a frameset provided through our DomainHostmaster.com Domain registration and hosting store. This provides a great way for others to easily remember and find our directory system. Dir Port™ functions like most other directories, but also includes lots of little extras. Members can get email otices of comments on their link, leave comments on links, get remote voting code to allow their visitors to rate their site. All DirPort.com links utilize the actual URL when linking to other websites, to help you with your search engine rankings (Dir Port™ does get spidered quite often). And just like Google, the new pages load into the same browser window. DirPort.com offers Sponsored Links (up to three per category) which will outrank all other links (only 10 cents per day to be listed ontop - which is only $36.50 per year). The sponsored link with the largest balance outranks up to two other Sponsored Links. Sponsored Links have 5 stars and are bolded with a slight highlight. The next type of links that are displayed are Reciprocal Links. Reciprocal Links show in the order of the eldest first. Reciprocal Links are bold with 3 stars. The last type of links to show are free links. Free links get one star and are also shown acording to eldest first. Presently, several other Domains also point to the DirPort.com directory on SymbioticDesign.com. One of which is DexDir.com, which will soon get it's own dedicated hosting account and start with the base Dir Port™ directory.
