Like most, I started getting into computers because of Nintendo. I loved computer games and ran out and bought a Commodore 64 when the PC world was still limited to 2 colors so that I could make my own games. Eventually, I grabbed an Amiga with 4096 colors when the PC was stuck at 256 colors and a color Mac was shockingly over expensive. There was a game for the Amiga (who at the time outsold games on all other platforms combined) from the UK called "Dragon's Breath" in which you often fought opponents with dragons you raised and enhanced with magic in your quest for a talisman. Many of us loved this game. One of the game's interface buttons was a dragon's eye. It was cool. This button was inspired by that button. The released dpArt CDROM will include a couple of animated variations to this button where the eye will rotate and/or the eye will blink.

While this button is great on any background, it is difficult to use it appropriately unless you have a collection of dragon pictures to show off. I do have a couple, so if you click on one of the above buttons you will find a couple of original dragon pictures that I have done.
