Banners & Tags

Want to link back to Symbiotic Design™ and/or our CyberGallery from your webpage? Do you want something more than a mere text link? We're all for that! Every banner on this page is approved for use on your webpage as a link back to locations here as long as you copy the banner image to your own website and serve it from there. Please do not pull banners or images from the Symbiotic Design™ server. Some of these banners have complementary banners for producing great rollovers.Details for each banner (file & image size) are provided underneath each one and then the code is provided for each banner so that all you have to do is:
  1. Save the banner image to your local hard drive. (Windows: right click the banner and select "Save image as..." or "Save picture as..."   Mac: hold down the mouse button until the menu pops up and select "Save Image as..." or "Save Picture as...")
  2. Copy and paste the provided code into your webpage's html code where you want it to show and save it.
  3. You then may need to change the location of the banner if it isn't in the images subdirectory (folder) of where your web page is located. In example, if you upload the banner image and the page which calls that image to the main directory of your web address without putting either in any subdirectory, or putting them both in the same subdirectory, you would change the path entry "images/banner_name.gif" to "banner_name.gif"
  4. Save your webpage's new modified code and then FTP/upload your webpage and the banner to your website. Make sure that you place the banner in the path indicated by your webpage so that the image will be found and the banner will load.
  5. Check out your webpage in your favorite browser. If you have visited it lately, you may have to "reload" or "refresh" your browser in order to see the changes.
